Sample Band 7 Answer
A good employment is the primary requirement for an every individual to lead a good standard of life.Nowadays, choosing a job revolves around many factors . Amongst them money is considered to be a major influencing factor.I agree to a greater extent for the above notion because of numerous reasons which will be discussed in this essay.However, factors such as interest and passion towards job also plays a pivotal role in considering a job which cannot be neglected.
Money is the basic requirement for any human to survive.To begin with, the cost of living has been drastically increased over the years and everyone wants to live a luxurious life with all comforts.This in turn makes an individual to naturally opt for a job with better salary irrespective of their interest.To exemplify,right from education to health service money plays a vital role,proving that it s an important factor for human to meet their basic requirements in their day to day life.Hence it is clear that if a person opts a job according to his interest, there will be many people suffering from poverty.
Despite this, there are some imperative factors such as passion and job-satisfaction that cannot be neglected.An individual who selects a job according to his interest will work effectively.As a result the productivity of company will be enhanced, which will grant him promotions and salary hikes. Therefore, it is obvious that a person who is passionate about their work will not only earn lot of money but also fetch him peace of mind and job-satisfaction.Hence, being passionate about his work will make his carer more successful, which will eventually make him rich.
In conclusion, considering the fact that money is being the basic essence of life for survival , I agree to greater extent that salary will be given first preference for selecting a job.However, factors such as interest ,passion etc that gives job-satisfaction cannot be downplayed.

TA – there is too much information in the introduction (the last sentence) and ’employment’ is uncountable, so no “A” to start the essay. TA – no ‘specific’ examples// CC – I slightly prefer para 2 to para 3// LR – “imperative factors” ? “enhance…productivity”? Where have you seen these word combinations used? ” plays a pivotal role/cannot be downplayed” -excellent. The one spelling error (carer/career) costs you a band//G – “opt FOR”. the “A employment” is an obvious error and there is a missing article in the introduction too. “makes…to”?
So, I’d say:
//TA – 7 (8 with “better” examples”
// CC – 7
// LR – 7 (8 without the spelling mistake)
// G – 7 (i feel your errors are careless slips so there is potential to achieve a higher band
